Synopsis
In Japan, the rise in drug-related crimes is overwhelming the police force's ability to keep order. To address this growing problem, a specialized unit called STAND is formed, made up of skilled experts capable of handling the crisis. Rei Izumi, new to the narcotics division, is given the important task of finding potential recruits for STAND. Despite her well-known dedication to justice and police work, Rei's unusual resistance to many types of drugs may be the key reason she was chosen. Determined to find suitable candidates, Rei soon realizes how difficult her assignment is. Each potential member has their own feelings, beliefs, and willingness to join the fight against drugs. Her skills as a narcotics officer are questioned by the various people she meets, leading to frequent disagreements and doubts in her daily life. Additionally, Rei must deal with the dangerous and secretive world of drug trafficking, where betrayal and deception are common, creating serious risks beyond what she first expected.
