Continues the story of Channel 5.5 3rd Season

Following their comedic skits with Sumire Uesaka portraying Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell: Arise, Project Channel 5.5, together with Calorie Mate and Eagle Talon's Frogman, now turns its satirical eye toward the classic music manga Nodame Cantabile. As in their previous season, this installment introduces fresh voice talent. Yuuki Kaji steps into the role of the exacting piano student Shinichi Chiaki, a part originally played by Tomokazu Seki. Moreover, Tomoko Kaneda voices Megumi Noda, the lively counterpart to Shinichi, taking over from Ayako Kawasumi, who previously voiced the character in earlier adaptations of Tomoko Ninomiya's josei manga.

The fourth season of Calorie Mate-sponsored Channel 5.5 sees creator Frogman, after their parodies of "Ghost in the Shell" and "Nodame Cantabile," turn to satirizing Riyoko Ikeda's foundational shoujo manga, "Rose of Versailles." Mayo Suzukake reprises her role as Oscar François de Jarjayes, a woman raised as a man to inherit her father's position as head of the French royal Palace Guards. Suzukaze had previously played this character in the Takarazuka Revue's stage adaptation of the series.
