Synopsis

Continues the story of Nyaruko: Crawling With Love!

In "Nyaruko: Crawling With Love!", Mahiro Yasaka is an ordinary high school student whose routine is shattered when a monstrous Nightgaunt alien attacks him. He is rescued by Nyaruko, a silver-haired girl who is actually the shape-shifting deity Nyarlathotep from the Cthulhu Mythos created by H. P. Lovecraft. The Space Defense Agency sent Nyaruko to Earth to prevent Mahiro from being kidnapped and enslaved by the alien. After saving him, Nyaruko develops an intense infatuation with Mahiro and moves into his house, much to his frustration. Soon after, two more characters from the same mythos arrive: Cthuko, a girl deeply in love with Nyaruko, and Hasuta, a boy often mistaken for a girl. These three strange beings constantly protect Mahiro from various otherworldly threats targeting both Earth and him, while also wreaking havoc on his daily life and turning it into a continuous ordeal.

In Nyaruko: Crawling With Love! Second Season, Nyaruko continues her pursuit of Mahiro, while Hasuta also competes for his affection. Kūko feels she should be recognized for uniting Nyaruko and Mahiro, and she observes their dynamic with keen interest. Yoriko manages the household turmoil with an upbeat attitude. Meanwhile, Mahiro simply longs for a quiet life and wants nothing to do with a Nyarlathotepan, a Cthulhu worshiper, or someone like Hasuta. Whether he can avoid being drawn into their chaos remains uncertain.
