Oruchuban Ebichu

Synopsis

Ebichu the hamster appears to be the ideal pet: she cleans, goes shopping, cooks, does the laundry, and does whatever it takes to please her owner, referred to only as "Office Lady" (OL). Unfortunately, OL and her cheating boyfriend, together with Ebichu's uncontrollable enthusiasm and passion for ice cream, frequently result in harsh and bloody punishment for the hamster. Still, Ebichu doesn't seem to mind the mistreatment as long as she can make her beloved master a little bit happier. Note: This show is part of Anime no Ai Awa Awa Hour (アニメ愛のあわあわアワー), a block of three relationship-themed comedy series aimed at women that aired on the same day. Oruchuban Ebichu aired twice daily, unlike the other two series.
