Synopsis
Ranma Saotome transforms into a girl when splashed with cold water, and constantly deals with obsessive suitors. Among the most devoted is Shampoo, a member of a tribe of Chinese Amazons. She initially attempted to kill Ranma in his female form, was defeated by him as a boy, and then followed her clan's custom by proposing marriage. Matters become more chaotic when Shampoo herself falls into a cursed spring and becomes a cat. Adding to the insanity, Mousse—who harbors romantic feelings for Shampoo—issues a challenge to Ranma, but the stakes involve Ranma's fiancée Akane. Note: Originally, episodes 7 through 9 were intended to air between episodes 13 and 14 of the series.
