Synopsis

Continues the story of Mr. Osomatsu

In the Matsuno household live six nearly identical brothers: Osomatsu, the self-centered leader; Karamatsu, the manly one; Choromatsu, the sensible sibling; Ichimatsu, the pessimist; Juushimatsu, the energetic brother; and Todomatsu, the charmer. Though all are over 20, they remain idle and jobless, living as NEETs. On the rare occasions they manage to secure a job interview, their peculiar traits almost always result in instant rejection. As they pursue romantic relationships and try to find suitable careers, the Matsuno brothers' days are filled with unpredictable and often absurd adventures. Despite genuinely wanting to improve their social standing, that goal stays out of reach unless they can overcome the many challenges that come with being sextuplets.

Osomatsu-san returns for a fourth season. The sextuplets are causing mayhem once again! Now in their twenties, these six brothers remain jobless, lacking in training, and without partners... yet there is something endearing about Japan’s most famous set of sextuplets. As another round of chaotic adventures begins, what lies ahead? New companions? New mischief? Maybe even a fresh side to the sextuplets? Let’s share a laugh with these utterly hopeless brothers. Initially, episode 13 was scheduled to air on October 1, 2025, but instead an episode 12.5 was broadcast. After that, the production team announced that the actual episode 13 was in development but postponed indefinitely. Later, the 13th episode was revealed as part of the Osomatsu-san 10th anniversary event in 2026, where it first received a limited theatrical pre-screening from June 6 to June 11, followed by an early streaming release starting June 12. Finally, it was broadcast on June 13, 2026.

Background

Episode 13 has been at first delayed indefinitely, but later a recap episode 12.5 was added to a Blu-ray/DVD release in its stead.
