Synopsis
In *Her Blue Sky*, high school student Aoi Aioi lives with her older sister Akane, who has raised her alone ever since their parents died in an accident thirteen years ago. Wanting to ease Akane's burden, Aoi plans to move to Tokyo after graduating to pursue her musical ambitions, inspired by Akane's ex-boyfriend, Shinnosuke "Shinno" Kanamuro. Before the sisters' tragedy, Shinno was in a band and left for Tokyo to become a professional guitarist, eventually disappearing from their lives. One day, while Aoi practices her bass guitar at a guest house, she unexpectedly meets the eighteen-year-old version of Shinno from thirteen years ago. At the same time, the current thirty-one-year-old Shinno returns to their hometown, but he has changed drastically. With both versions of Shinno existing at once, the mystery deepens—why is the younger Shinno here? *Her Blue Sky* unfolds as these four characters confront their true feelings and make choices that will profoundly shape their futures.
