Synopsis
Kino wakes up in Tower Country and is immediately comforted by the sight of a massive structure at its center, a tower that rises endlessly into the sky. This engineering marvel fills her with awe and wonder. With Hermes, her talking motorcycle, by her side, Kino and her companion decide to get a closer look at this mysterious building. Even though the tower already reaches impressively toward the heavens, the local people continue building it without pause. Curious about what the tower is for and where it came from, Kino and Hermes ask the townsfolk for answers, but no one gives them a clear explanation. As they spend time watching both the tower and the people around it, they try to figure out the reason behind this massive project. Every country has its secrets, and Kino believes it is worth understanding even the strangest of customs.
