Synopsis
In the corrupt and bustling Russell City, negative emotions manifest as Horrors, causing chaos and destruction. The Makai Order secretly fights these malevolent beings, operating through small businesses and sending Makai Knights and Makai Alchemists to stop them. Among the Order, Sword—a large, powerful man—holds the title of Golden Knight, enabling him to use the Garo armor and blade. He alone knows of a conspiracy threatening the Makai Order, tied to the cryptic phrase "El Dorado." While battling a Horror, Sword meets Sophia "Sophie" Hennis, a young woman whose brother vanished years ago under circumstances linked to the same mysterious word. United by their shared search for the truth behind "El Dorado," Sword and Sophie decide to work together to uncover the secret of her brother's disappearance.
