Continues the story of Beastars 2nd Season
In a world where anthropomorphic animals live side by side, the esteemed title of Beastar is granted to those who fight prejudice to unite carnivores and herbivores. For five years, Cherryton Academy has gone without a Beastar, but the murder of an alpaca on campus has escalated tensions between species, making the need for a unifying leader more critical than ever. After Louis, the frontrunner for the role, steps down and leaves, the student council declares that the student who identifies the killer will be crowned Beastar. Motivated by his determination to shield the weak, Legoshi accepts the challenge of solving the crime, a quest made even more difficult by his complicated feelings for Haru, a white rabbit.
In this installment
In an anthropomorphic animal society, a major shift is underway. After the discovery of a carnivore killer at Cherryton Academy, the school enforces a strict separation policy meant to protect herbivores, but this only heightens hostility toward carnivores. Meanwhile, the illegal meat trade flourishes, and the powerful lion gang, Shishi-gumi, faces turmoil following the loss of its leader. A new, ruthless figure emerges with ambitions to take over the Shishi-gumi by introducing a tempting energy drink designed for carnivores. Legoshi, a compassionate gray wolf struggling with his predatory nature, has left the academy to live a peaceful life, using his natural strength only to defend the vulnerable. However, his involvement in the academy's murder scandal attracts the attention of the current Beastar, the highest authority figure. Determined to preserve his contentious relationship with Haru, a delicate white dwarf rabbit, Legoshi upholds his moral principles while being drawn into the escalating conflict between carnivores and herbivores.
