Synopsis

In "The Colors Within," Totsuko is a high school student with a unique gift—she can see the colors that people emit, emotions expressed as hues of happiness, enthusiasm, tranquility, and one special shade that is particularly close to her heart. She finds herself especially drawn to the stunning color given off by her classmate, Kimi. Despite lacking musical talent herself, Totsuko manages to bring together Kimi and Rui, a quiet music enthusiast they meet at a vintage bookstore in another part of town. As they practice together in an abandoned church on a remote island, their collaborative music fosters deepening connections and budding affections. Can each of them discover their true inner "colors"?
