Upon moving into Hidamari Apartments, Yuno was welcomed by her neighbors as she started her studies at the esteemed Yamabuki Art School. Now a seasoned resident, Yuno must help the latest newcomers, Nazuna and Nori, as they learn to live on their own. Despite the challenges and surprises that come with life in Hidamari, the presence of supportive friends like Miyako, Hiro, and Sae ensures that each cloud has a silver lining, bringing light and warmth to every situation in Hidamari Sketch x Hoshimittsu.

Life continues at Hidamari Sou, the dormitory for students of Yamabuki High School, as the new school year begins. Yuno and Miyako have advanced to their second year, while Sae and Hiro are now in their final year. New residents Nori and Nazuna have joined the Hidamari Sou community, carrying on the everyday routines and activities of its inhabitants.
