Synopsis

Continues the story of King of Prism: Pride the Hero

Shin Ichijou, along with seven new students, enrolls at the Edel Rose training school to pursue their dreams of becoming idol singers and Prism Stars, aiming to perform in future Prism Shows. However, Edel Rose faces a threat from an evil scheme orchestrated by Jin Norizuki of the rival Schwarz Rose school. Over The Rainbow goes on an indefinite hiatus to protect Edel Rose, and the three performers separate. To repay a massive debt, Kōji goes to Hollywood to produce music for films. Kazuki sets out on a journey to rediscover his roots as a street-style performer. Hiro undergoes special training for self-improvement. In different locations, each member confronts their own identity as a Prism Star.

After the Prism King Cup, Shin Ichijo—who represented Edel Rose and caught a glimpse of a future Prism Star's life—decided to enter Kakyoin Academy's high school division as a freshman in the spring. Around the same time, Koji, Hiro, and Kazuki of Over The Rainbow left Edel Rose to start their own agency, keeping them occupied. With Hiro becoming the new Prism King, Jin Norizuki, the head of Schwarz Rose, unveils PRISM.1—a tournament meant to choose a new king separate from the Prism King—and announces a face-off between Schwarz Rose and Edel Rose. As preparations for PRISM.1 begin, Yukinojo wrestles with juggling kabuki and the Prism Show, feeling unsatisfied with both. His father, seeing his struggle, suggests he leave the Prism Show world behind.
