Synopsis

Continues the story of Versatile Mage Season 4

In preparation for the transfer evaluation to the main campus, Mo Fan confronts an attack from the Black Order. To deal with this threat, he undergoes intense training within the Three Step Pagoda. Afterward, he is chosen as an exchange student, with the program involving both a team competition and a practical exam in a city overrun by monsters. At the same time, fugitives from the defense force add further obstacles, making his path to becoming the most powerful mage even harder.

Mo Fan was believed to have died, but when rumors of his survival begin to circulate, his childhood friend Zhang Xiaohou sets out on a journey to find him. After they reunite, Mo Fan recruits Zhang Xiaohou and Li Man to track down a giant lizard, intending to use its soul to neutralize the harmful effects of his demonic abilities. As Mo Fan gradually reclaims his humanity, he spends time with his stepsister Ye Xinxia in Song City, where they encounter a massive snake looming over the city. Consulting his mentor Tang Yue about the serpent, she reveals its history during a visit to her island home. Mo Fan agrees to protect the snake, receiving its valuable shed skin as a reward. Meanwhile, a White Eagle demon attacks the Western fortress, unleashing a plague that spreads from Bai City to Song City. When the giant snake is falsely blamed for the epidemic, Mo Fan vows to clear its name by uncovering the true source of the disease and finding a cure.
