Synopsis

In the vast city of Kivotos, a metropolis filled with countless schools under the authority of the General Student Council (GSC), gun violence is widespread despite its academic appearance, with firearms becoming a normal part of student life. Amidst this turmoil, the GSC president has disappeared without a trace. Before her disappearance, she sought out Sensei, likely the only teacher in Kivotos, to assist students in need. Sensei's first assignment is to support Abydos High School, a once prestigious institution now down to just five students, struggling to pay off a crushing debt of nearly one billion yen.

Background

Blue Archive the Animation adapts the first story volume of the 2021 smartphone game Blue Archive developed by Nexon Games. The series was released on Blu-ray in four volumes from August 28, 2024, to November 27, 2024.
