Back Street Girls: Gokudols

Synopsis

After failing repeatedly, yakuza members Kentarou, Ryou, and Kazuhiko are given a harsh ultimatum by their boss: have their organs removed and sold, or undergo gender reassignment surgery in Thailand and become pop idols. One year later, they have transformed into Airi, Chika, and Mari, debuting as the rookie idol group The Goku Dolls, with the mission of reaching the top of the idol world. Though they have undergone rigorous training to enhance their femininity, the former thugs still retain their yakuza toughness underneath. To remedy this, their boss hires Mandarin Kinoshita, a legendary manager known for leading idol groups to success. With their lives on the line, the reluctant ex-yakuza must cooperate with their new mentor, discover their hidden appeal, and achieve the success their ruthless boss demands.
