Aboard the Jotunheim, Lieutenant Oliver May and the 603 Technical Division Unit continue assessing and testing prototype weapons meant to support Zeon's fight against the Federation Forces. Each experiment concludes with a story that emphasizes the hardships faced by both the weapon and its test pilot, further adding to the larger narrative of the One Year War.

In Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO 2: Gravity of the Battlefront, the story returns to the setting of the original MS IGLOO, focusing this time on the Federation forces fighting the threatening Zakus. Each episode explores the tale of a different Federation soldier, each one followed by a Death God that came to Earth alongside the Zakus. These episodes show their fierce battles using ordinary weapons like tanks and missiles. Driven by vengeance and with a Death God watching over them, these soldiers face the overwhelming power of the Zaku mobile suits.
