Synopsis
In a far-off era, a distinctive life-form known as the Houseki emerges. There are twenty-eight of these gems, and their duty is to protect themselves from the Tsukijin, who aim to turn them into ornaments. Each gem is given a specific job, like soldier or healer. Though eager to battle the moon dwellers, Phos remains without an assignment until Kongo, the Houseki's guardian, requests that she compile a natural history magazine.
