Synopsis
Continues the story of Dark Gathering
Keitarou Gentouga has a powerful spiritual aura that draws spirits to him. Due to a past trauma, a curse afflicts his right hand, forcing him to hide it with a glove. Now a college freshman, Keitarou wants to live a normal life, encouraged by his childhood friend Eiko Houzuki, who helps him find work as a private tutor. Because of his academic skills, his first student is Yayoi Houzuki, a gifted girl known for her unusual abilities. Keitarou is shocked to learn that Yayoi is related to Eiko and possesses special eyes that let her see the spirit world and fight malicious entities. After losing her parents in a car accident, Yayoi seeks revenge against the powerful being that claimed her mother's soul at the moment of death. Recognizing how strongly spirits are attracted to Keitarou, she convinces him to help her collect more evil spirits to strengthen herself for the eventual confrontation. Despite the risks, Keitarou reluctantly agrees, but each new spirit they face tests his resolve further.
