Synopsis

Set in the Second Kowloon Walled City, a place defined by its dim lighting, damp alleyways, and lively atmosphere, the locale stirs a unique sense of nostalgia in those who live there. Among its residents is Reiko Kujirai, a 32-year-old real estate agent, who holds romantic feelings for her coworker Hajime Kudou, who is two years her junior. Though they occasionally clash, their relationship remains friendly, and they share in the city's charm together. Their world begins to unravel when Kudou, in a drowsy and disoriented state, unexpectedly kisses Kujirai, seemingly returning her unspoken affection. However, his confusion about her identity soon becomes apparent, prompting Kujirai to delve into a forgotten chapter of her own past.
