Synopsis

Continues the story of Are You OK?

In the present day, the imperial court actively recruits foreigners, assigning them roles based on their unique talents with the aim of transforming their archaic civilization into something better. Zuo Yun Qi, an influential dissident, infiltrates the court disguised as a foreigner to rescue his father but is quickly unmasked by a landlord who is an expert at identifying outsiders. This encounter ignites a series of mental and physical clashes that oscillate between comedy and conflict, eventually leading the two to agree on a partnership. Although they manage to thwart one conspiracy, they soon discover another foreigner who has secretly formed an alliance to overthrow the current regime and establish a chaotic, free-for-all society. Faced with this new threat, Zuo Yun Qi and his group are compelled to take decisive action.

In the ancient realm of Liang, many deceased residents become hosts for spirits from two thousand years in the future, transforming them into time travelers. These newcomers introduce advanced technology and expertise to Liang, both captivating and unsettling the reigning emperor. Amid this chaos, Lou Zhu, a time traveler advocating peace, develops a close bond with Zuo Yunqi, a member of a prestigious local family. Together they seek a way to reconcile the old and new worlds. Tensions escalate between the imperial government and a radical faction of time travelers. During a violent clash, Lou Zhu intervenes to halt further conflict and is buried beneath a collapsing mountain, leaving his survival uncertain. Six months pass quickly. Seizing the chance created by the explosion, the emperor orders the extermination of all time travelers. Meanwhile, the radical group called the Pioneers, led by Jiao Jiaoran, aims to exploit the chaos and overthrow the emperor using modern weapons. Both sides focus their attention on the legendary Lou Zhu, believed to be recuperating among martial artists.
