Continues the story of My-Otome
Set in the Kingdom of Windbloom, Arika Yumemiya enrolls at Garderobe Academy to train as an Otome—a pure-hearted maiden equipped with a HiME (Highly-advanced Materializing Equipment) that grants immense powers. Arika also seeks to find her mother, a former Meister Otome who once protected and fought for the nation. At the academy, Arika forms close bonds with Nina Wáng, a skilled Otome student, and Princess Mashiro Blan de Windbloom. With their support, Arika quickly adapts to academy life, dedicating herself to intense training, building friendships, and refining her Otome abilities. Yet Arika discovers that the path to becoming an Otome is fraught with dangers and political schemes. As she confronts various personal challenges, she comes to understand that achieving her goals will demand great sacrifices.
In this installment
A year has passed since the events of My-Otome. Arika has attained the rank of full-fledged Otome, although she continues to train under Miss Maria's watchful eye, while Nagi remains locked away in a prison somewhere in Aries. With peace restored among the nations, plans are made to hold S.O.L.T. (Strategic Otome Limitation Talks) to discuss limiting the number of Otome. When a mission is launched to destroy a meteor threatening to collide with Earl, the operation sets off a chain of events that culminates in a mysterious shadowy figure attacking Garderobe and several Otome, while a new, more powerful version of Slave begins appearing across the planet. Matters grow worse when Queen Mashiro vanishes following an argument with Arika. The series follows Arika's search for Mashiro and Garderobe's attempts to uncover the truth behind the shadowy figure.
