Synopsis
In "A Sign of Affection," university student Yuki Itose navigates life with hearing loss, surrounded by perpetual silence. Her days are orderly and restricted, filled with attending classes, spending time with her best friend Rin Fujishiro, and communicating through writing and text messages. One day, while on her commute, Yuki meets Itsuomi Nagi, a fellow student and traveler who also knows Rin. Upon learning of Yuki's deafness, Itsuomi responds with understanding and acceptance, profoundly affecting Yuki. This encounter sets off a series of changes as Yuki and Itsuomi start integrating each other into their distinct lives.
