Synopsis

The Kagami family has passed down an old Western-style palm-sized mirror for generations. Akko-chan was raised knowing how important this mirror is, so when her mother finally gives it to her, she treasures it with all her heart. One day, during a ruckus caused by Taishou and his gang, Akko-chan accidentally breaks the mirror. She digs a grave and buries the broken pieces in the backyard. That night, a flash of light and a gentle voice awaken Akko-chan—the voice belongs to the Queen of the Mirror Kingdom. The Queen thanks Akko-chan for cherishing the mirror so dearly and offers her a gift: a magical compact mirror. Whenever Akko-chan sings the magic words, she can transform into anything she wishes.
