Synopsis

"My Roommate is a Cat" follows Subaru Mikazuki, a 23-year-old mystery novelist who is introverted and shy, preferring the company of books over people. After losing his parents in a tragic accident, he lives completely alone. While visiting his parents' grave, Subaru meets Haru, a small gray-and-white cat. Even though he has no experience caring for another living creature, he decides to take her home. Haru enjoys the plentiful food that comes with indoor life, but she notices that Subaru can barely take care of himself. Will these two opposites learn to support one another? The story delves into the growing relationship between Subaru and Haru as they overcome their differences and discover how to understand each other.
