Synopsis

Continues the story of Locke the Superman

Despite often rejecting the title, the recluse known as "Locke the Superman" is a courteous, immortal esper whose origins remain shrouded in mystery. No one knows when or where he was born, and Locke himself claims to have no memory of these events—though his statement may very well be accurate. During the "Millennium of the Witch" incident, when questioned by Cornelia Prim, he revealed that his home star was named "Toa." Throughout galactic history, Locke has appeared at various times, sometimes directly influencing events and other times merely observing. His esper abilities allow him to learn skills and complete tasks far quicker than ordinary humans. Additionally, these powers grant him eternal youth, enabling him to take the form of a child so that kind families will take him in. Many suspect he maintains this youthful appearance as a way to avoid responsibility for the problems he encounters, relying on the expectation that children are not held accountable for such matters.

In this installment

In Space Century year 336, on the planet Sieren, a blind woman named Flora Rain works at an elementary school in the state of Innex. Loved by her pupils, the school principal, and everyone in town, she lives a quiet, happy life there. One day, she happens to encounter a mysterious young man called Locke. Though Locke possesses numerous superpowers, he keeps them well hidden and comes across as an ordinary youth. Later, a military officer, Major Caliann, comes to see Locke and asks for his help in looking into Lordleon. Lordleon and his band of space pirates had attacked the Astoria Concern enterprise, yet its chairman, Great Georg, never reported the incident to the Union. Since the Union already knew about the attacks, they found this silence suspicious and chose to investigate Lordleon with Locke's aid.
