The Island of Giant Insects

Synopsis

A school trip goes horribly wrong when the plane carrying Oribe Mutsumi and her classmates crashes, leaving them stranded on what appears to be a deserted island. Mutsumi swiftly locates the other survivors and applies her knowledge of wilderness survival to assist them. At first, she is confident that rescue will come within three days—a reasonable hope. But their situation turns dire when they realize the island is overrun with enormous, lethal insects. Mutsumi's expertise with bugs like butterflies and wasps may prove essential to protecting her fellow students until help arrives.
