Synopsis
Continues the story of Fairy Gone
In a world where fairies once lived inside animals, granting them extraordinary powers, these beings were turned into tools of war. By transplanting organs from enchanted beasts, humans could summon fairies as their second selves, becoming "Fairy Soldiers." When the fighting ended, the future of these soldiers grew uncertain. Some sided with the government, others joined criminal groups, and a few turned to terrorism—each forging their own path. Nine years after the war, the protagonist Mariya joins "Dorothea," an organization that fights crimes linked to fairies. Against a backdrop of political unrest, lingering wartime resentments drive acts of terrorism seeking revenge. This story follows Fairy Soldiers navigating justice in a troubled post-conflict era.
In this installment
Fairies inhabit animals and bestow special abilities upon them. By surgically removing and transplanting the organs of such a possessed animal into a human, that person can partially summon the fairy and wield it as a weapon. These individuals were eventually deployed in warfare and became known as "Fairy Soldiers." Following a prolonged conflict, these soldiers lost their purpose and had to find their place in society. Nine years after the war ended, Maria joins "Dorothea," an organization tasked with investigating and suppressing fairy-related crimes and incidents. Even in peacetime, the government remains unstable in the war's aftermath. Many criminals still bear the scars of the previous conflict, and terrorist groups seeking revenge continue to operate.
