Synopsis
During a total solar eclipse on July 22, 2009, the Galaxy Express 999 stopped in Kagoshima. Tetsuro handed his 999 ticket to a young boy named Kakeru, who dreamed of becoming an astronaut, saying, "Whether you can use this ticket depends on you." Twenty-six years later, in 2035, another total solar eclipse is about to take place in Japan. What has become of Kakeru in the years since?
