Synopsis

Continues the story of On The Edge

He Fangzhi, a penniless young man, sets out on a path of vengeance after his family is betrayed and killed by other migrants while they were relocating. He escapes the massacre by feigning death. Afterwards, he learns a distinctive martial art in Shuzhong and swears to take revenge for his family. Carrying a fan and a clue pointing to where his enemies are, He Fangzhi starts his journey toward retribution.

In the second season of On The Edge, He Fangzhi and Aya solve the mystery behind Lord Lin's murder. Afterwards, they take on a new assignment given by the Pavilion Master: travel to Fengming Mountain in the Northwest to rescue someone. During their journey, He Fangzhi meets a wide variety of people, from those of high rank to members of the martial world. Each person confronts their own choices and holds fast to the convictions they believe in.
