Ohayou! Spank

Synopsis

A junior high school student named Aiko Morimura stands shorter than many of her classmates and has been through a string of misfortunes. Her father left on a yacht ten years ago and has not been heard from since, while her mother, who designs hats, moved to Paris and left Aiko in the care of her uncle, Mr. Fujinami. Aiko once had a pet dog named Papi, but the dog was tragically killed in a car accident. Soon after that loss, a new dog called Spank showed up at Aiko's doorstep. Spank's presence gradually helps raise Aiko's spirits and reintroduce happiness into her daily life.
