Synopsis
Approximately 1,800 years ago in China, the Han dynasty's authority declined, and conflict erupted across the land. Liu Bei, a young and impoverished seller of straw mats from the countryside of Hebai Hsing, formed an oath of eternal brotherhood with the heroes Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Together, Liu Bei began constructing his vision of a righteous kingdom that would aid citizens suffering from persecution.
