Wasteful Days of High School Girls

Synopsis

In the days leading up to her entrance ceremony at Sainotama Girls' High School, Akane Kikuchi reflects on her childhood ambition of becoming a manga artist and feels disheartened by her lack of progress. At the ceremony, she learns that she will once again be in the same class as her two closest friends: the reserved Shiori Saginomiya and the lively, eccentric Nozomu Tanaka. Tanaka soon realizes that attending an all-girls high school crushes her hopes of becoming popular with boys and finding a boyfriend. Desperate to change this, Tanaka starts asking her classmates to introduce her to male friends. However, her classmates are far from ordinary. They range from a loli who adores her grandmother to a reclusive chuunibyou and an overly analytical stalker, each earning a unique nickname from Tanaka that highlights their quirks. And so, the idle days of these high school girls begin, each starting with Tanaka's trademark question: "Hey, want to hear something incredible?"
