Synopsis

Two young women, one shared dream, and the entire world as their stage. At age thirteen, Maya Kitajima appears fated to spend her life working in a crowded restaurant alongside her resentful and unstable mother. However, when the legendary diva Chigusa Tsukikage discovers Maya's extraordinary acting ability, a new path opens before her—one filled with brilliant opportunities and dangerous risks. Ayumi Himekawa has always known success, yet she yearns to be acknowledged for her own talents and hard work, not the connections of her famous parents. For both, the ultimate goal is the role of the Crimson Goddess in the same-named play, a part originally created by Chigusa. To reach this goal, Maya and Ayumi must seek out and overcome every acting challenge, pushing their talent and endurance to the absolute limit until they become worthy of the role... But for one to triumph, the other must fail.
