Rail Wars!

Synopsis

In a world where Japan's rail networks remain under government control, guaranteeing their success, Naoto Takayama hopes to join Japan National Railways for the steady income and comfort it provides. To reach this objective, he enrolls in a rigorous training program that tests his knowledge of trains and his capability to manage any scenario. Throughout his training, Naoto meets other participants including the sporty Aoi Sakura, the perpetually famished Sho Iwaizumi, and the walking encyclopedia Haruka Komi. As they advance through their intense training, they confront various obstacles like pickpockets, bomb scares, and the growing threat from the radical "RJ" group, which seeks to privatize the railway system.

From June 6, 2014 to July 6, 2014, the first episodes of Rail Wars! were streamed on Niconico. The regular TV broadcast began July 4, 2014 (July 3rd, 25:46) on TBS.
