Synopsis

Continues the story of New Gods: Nezha Reborn

In the coastal city of Donghai, where both rainfall and freshwater are always scarce, motorcycle fanatic Lin Yunxiang gets attacked by a superpowered individual after crashing into the son of a major water supplier. This assault awakens a latent power inside him, showing his link to Nezha. While seeking vengeance against his assailant, Lin Yunxiang discovers a far greater scheme at play.

In this installment

Thirteen years after sealing his sister beneath a mountain, the once all-powerful deity Yang Jian, known as Erlang Shen, has fallen on hard times and works as a down-and-out bounty hunter. When a mysterious woman hires him for a new assignment, he discovers that his target is his long-lost nephew, Chenxiang, who is seeking the enchanted lotus lantern to free his mother, despite the potential chaos it may unleash. As Yang Jian struggles with the weight of his past choices, he must also face off against numerous dangerous hunters all competing for the same artifact that could upset the balance of their worlds.
