Synopsis
Rifle shooting, a sport that demands exceptional accuracy and precision, was traditionally dominated by members of Japan's defense force due to strict firearm regulations. With the introduction of beam-powered rifles that replaced conventional ammunition, the sport gained popularity among younger individuals, leading to the creation of school-level competitions. Hikari Kokura, a first-year high school student with a passion for marksmanship, transfers to Chidori High School. She aims to join the rifle-shooting club, but discovers it has been disbanded due to declining interest. Despite this setback, Hikari remains determined and works to revive the club. Through her efforts, she recruits three new members: her childhood friend Izumi Shibusawa, half-Russian student Erika Meinohama, and the introverted Yukio Igarashi. The newly formed Chidori Rifle-Shooting Club now faces the challenge of competing at the national level.
