Synopsis

The story of "Tezuka Osamu Monogatari: Boku wa Son Gokuu" presents a semi-autobiographical view of Tezuka Osamu's life through the tale of Son-Gokuu, a monkey born from stone who is granted supernatural abilities. After an incident where he loses control and causes widespread destruction, Son-Gokuu is sealed beneath Mt. Gogyo by Buddha. Years later, he is set free by Sanzohoshi and accompanies him on a journey to India, encountering many dangerous creatures along the way.
