Synopsis

Continues the story of Love Live! SuperStar!!

Each person has their own dreams, and Kanon Shibuya, who has musical ability, is no exception. However, because of intense stage fright, she fails to enter Yuigaoka Girls' High School's music program and ends up in the general course. Kanon thinks about giving up music entirely until her classmate, Tang Keke, reignites her passion through her excitement for school idols. Keke and Kanon attempt to form a school idol group, but they face strong opposition from Ren Hazuki, whose father serves as the school's principal. Even so, the girls manage to meet with the principal and gain permission to establish their school idol club, on the condition that they take first place at the Yoyogi School Idol Festival. Their path as aspiring idols is full of obstacles, but through determination and forming new bonds, they slowly put together a group of skilled members. Together, they strive to become the brilliant idols that others can only dream of being.

In this installment

At the start of the new school year at Yuigaoka Girls' High School, the school idol club Liella!, led by co-founder Kanon Shibuya, hopes to recruit new members to their already celebrated group. However, Liella!'s outstanding reputation makes potential recruits hesitant, as they are intimidated by the rigorous training needed to maintain such high standards. While the club worries about recruitment, Kanon meets first-year student Kinako Sakurakouji and introduces her to the world of school idols. Although Kinako is impressed, she feels she is unremarkable and doubts whether she can contribute to Liella!'s dazzling performances. With encouragement from the club, Kinako decides to join, reigniting the team's shared determination to excel in the prestigious Love Live! Competition.
