Synopsis

In the magical realm of Naral Island, a new Demon Lord arises each generation, only to be vanquished by a chosen Hero. The current Hero, Juulia "Yusha" Charldetto, is finishing her quest alongside her companions: the devoted priest Seiran "Seira" Élénoir, the mysterious mage Meiza "Mei" Endust, and the spirited warrior Fai Fai. During their final battle against the Demon Lord, Yusha's group attempts a dangerous spell meant to send their enemy backward through time. The spell misfires, hurling Yusha and her team into an era where the Demon Lord has not yet appeared, and before Yusha herself became the Hero. Stripped of their memories of the future, the four girls begin anew, once again dreaming of assembling the Hero's Party and defeating the Demon Lord. However, the Demon Lord is also transported to the past but retains her memories. She assumes the guise of a young girl named Mao and takes a teaching role at the adventurer academy, scheming to prevent Yusha from ever becoming a Hero. This sets the stage for Yusha and her friends' adventure as they unknowingly strive to conquer the Demon Lord now hidden among them.
