Synopsis
At an all-girls academy where she is groomed to become a refined lady, Isabella York regards her life as nothing short of imprisonment and misery. Her family's decision to hire Violet Evergarden as a private tutor, disguised as a maid, stems from her poor academic standing. At first, Isabella treats Violet with cold indifference, viewing her as an effortlessly perfect stranger. However, as they spend more time together, Isabella discovers that Violet has endured her own harrowing trials, shifting her perspective. Isabella eventually confides in Violet about losing contact with her beloved younger sister, Taylor Bartlett, and reveals her deep longing to reconnect. Drawing on her own past experiences regarding the profound power of letters, Violet suggests that Isabella compose a message to Taylor. Can Violet assist Isabella in conveying the intense emotions she holds for her estranged sibling?
