Synopsis
In the Regild Century 1014, a thousand years have elapsed since the fierce mobile suit conflicts of the Universal Century, when legendary pilots such as Amuro Ray and Char Aznable dominated the battlefield. Earth's surface is largely deserted, with humanity living primarily in space colonies and on the moon. Bellri Zenam, a trainee at the Capital Guard Academy, enjoys a tranquil school life until the capture of pirate pilot Aida Surugan and her mobile suit, the G-Self, throws his routine into chaos. Bellri develops a strong psychic link with the G-Self and discovers he can pilot it. After becoming involved with the "Capital Guard"—a renegade group pursuing a secret mission that opposes the Earth-based Amerian Army—Bellri teams up with Aida on the Amerian battleship Megafauna. Together, they must employ the G-Self to face off against the Capital Guard and its formidable leaders, Colonel Kunpa Rushita and the enigmatic Captain Mask.
