Synopsis

In a fresh era of Battle Spirits, powerful cards are scattered across the galaxy, drawing "card questers" into fierce battles to claim them. Rei, a flashy wanderer obsessed with being the greatest, travels with a tiny dragon named Mugen and a talking robot named Salt, declaring himself the "Number One Star." His spectacular card duels often cause chaos. Rei's journey eventually crosses paths with Raira and Rikuto April, who possess clues to the location of the "ultimate" Battle Spirits card. Joining forces, they set out on a quest for that prized card, meeting many colorful characters along the way. Their adventure soon draws the attention of the Guild, a group of cunning villains with their own plans for the Ultimate Battle Spirits. As Rei clashes with the Guild, his claim to being the top card quester is put to the test, revealing deeper mysteries tied to the universe's fate.
