Weather Report Girl

Synopsis

Hurricane Keiko is on its way! The weather segment on the news is usually the last thing viewers care about—unless the forecaster promises sunshine and delivers rain instead. But Keiko Nakadai is about to change all that. After years of struggling in obscurity at a low-rated TV station, Keiko has discovered exactly what the weather report needs, and she has no problem taking off her top or lifting her skirt on air to deliver it. The ratings certainly won't be dropping. Naturally, some staff members at the station find this distasteful and decide Keiko must be removed. They plot a series of horrible "accidents" for her, but Keiko always seems to stay one step ahead. Eventually, everyone at the station will realize there is far more to her than meets the eye as Keiko's star rises at an incredible pace. Meanwhile, as her importance grows, the fortunes of Michiko Kawai—the former weather girl—decline. Something must be done, but who can possibly do it?
