Android Announcer Maico 2010

Synopsis

In 2010, Japan's radio industry grapples with falling listener numbers. To combat this, a station operated by a constantly underachieving staff chooses an unorthodox fix: recruiting Maico, the nation's first android announcer. Although adorable and attractive, Maico soon realizes that being a mere novelty does not suffice to captivate the unpredictable audience, especially given the incompetence of her coworkers.
