Synopsis

Ichiko Sakura has always lived a life of overwhelming good fortune, blessed with beauty, intelligence, and limitless wealth. In sharp contrast stands Momiji Binboda, a goddess of poverty who endures constant misfortune, including a perpetual arm cast, a flat chest, and living under a bridge. Their paths cross when Momiji, carrying out her divine duty, tells Ichiko that her extraordinary luck comes from unknowingly draining the fortune of everyone around her. Momiji intends to take back Ichiko's luck to stop others from being left with nothing. But with help from the wandering monk Bobby Statice, Ichiko manages to fend off the poverty goddess. This failure leads Momiji to call on her teddy bear companion Kumagai and the self-torturing dog deity Momoo Inugami. As Ichiko's peaceful world falls into chaos, she faces daily struggles over her luck. To get through this upheaval, Ichiko must rely on every bit of fortune she has in Binbougami ga!!.
