In a future era where humanity's exploration of the cosmos has reached a golden age, machinist Chen Mo believed he would successfully arrive at the new world—the Wild Land—aboard an interstellar spacecraft. However, upon awakening, he finds the Wild Land reduced to a barren wasteland, and his crew members transformed into terrifying puppet-like monsters. Unbeknownst to Chen Mo, during his centuries-long slumber in the dormancy chamber, humanity had established an interstellar federation, turning the Wild Land into a veritable abyss. Why am I still alive? —Burdened by countless questions, Chen Mo repairs four robot assistants, each with distinct personalities and functions. With their aid, he prepares to journey back to Earth.
