Synopsis

In the wake of a mysterious environmental disaster 22 years ago, the Kanazawa prefecture was dramatically reshaped, with portions of land rising to form an isolated area known as the Lost Ground. Kazuma, a young mercenary living there, takes on any job to survive in this harsh environment. He possesses a rare Alter ability that allows him to coat his right arm and torso in a metallic alloy. His life changes when he encounters HOLY, an organization dedicated to hunting down and controlling individuals like him, called Native Alter Users. A fierce rivalry ignites between Kazuma and Ryuho, one of HOLY's top operatives.
