Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts

Synopsis

In a distant corner of the world lies the Kingdom of Ozmargo, a land of diverse creatures ruled by a fearsome, unnamed king. Following a long war with a human kingdom, a treaty was established requiring an annual human sacrifice to be devoured by the king on the eve of revelation. Sariphi, the ninety-ninth human chosen for this grim fate, appears weak but shows no fear of her captor, and has no family or home to return to if she escapes. Drawn by her boldness, the king allows her to wander the palace, despite objections from his advisor Anubis. As the king and Sariphi grow closer, the fateful night approaches, setting off a chain of events that will change the destinies of Sariphi, the king, and both their realms.
