Synopsis
In "Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms," Hikaru Amatsuga's normal life changes drastically when he rescues Alma, a sentient mechanical arm that asks for help. Alma attaches itself to Hikaru's jacket, bringing him into contact with the world of mechanical arms—intelligent weapons that merge with their users. While escaping, Hikaru ends up with Aki Murasame, who wields two mechanical arms and works for ARMS, an organization dedicated to protecting these arms from being misused. The Kagami Group, which sees mechanical arms as simple tools, wants to reclaim Alma. Because Hikaru lacks natural talent with the mechanical arms, ARMS considers him unsuitable but assigns Aki as his guardian. When Jun Kagami overpowers Aki, removing her mechanical limbs and leaving her to a slow death, Hikaru, refusing to lose Aki, unexpectedly unlocks his hidden abilities and defeats Kagami. With this victory, Hikaru gains recognition in ARMS and vows to uncover the secrets of the mechanical arms while protecting his new friends.
